Our items are handmade, unique, one-of-a-kind pieces that require a little extra love and care to keep them safe.
The bottom of your nocrumbsleft pottery is left in its natural state. Because it is not glazed, it can scratch the surface you set it on. We recommend setting pottery on a placemat, dish towel, trivet, or felt pad and not directly onto a scratchable surface.
While the pottery is technically dishwasher-safe, we absolutely recommend hand washing, especially the Bigger Bowls, Everything Bowls, Serving Platters, Lucy Platters, Patrick Bowls, and Zach Bowls. If you love the pottery in the state it’s in, please don’t put it in the dishwasher, where it can potentially chip! If you do use the dishwasher, be sure the products are spaced out to avoid chips as much as possible.
The pottery is microwave safe and oven safe* but be aware of temperature shock. For example, do not take the pottery out of the fridge and put it directly into the microwave. Make sure your pottery is at least room temperature before heating.
*We recommend setting the oven to 200ºF when you warm up your pottery for serving.
